It is very interesting to study human behavior and humans treat other humans.
It is very confusing to balance your personal self worth and how much other people value you. I see it so often in Decipher where some people are made to feel their input and presence, more or less, is not necessary while the "faux pas" of others are applauded or goes unpunished. It is strange because in an environment where employees pride themselves in being the backbone and vital link to the success of the enterprise, they are made to feel otherwise because of varying degrees of embrace given. One could venture to say, being headstrong and charming can get you further than hardwork and general dedication to your job. What ever happened to the decent way of things. It seems not only the workplace but the entire world is adopting a capitalist mentality where the people who sweat the most and contribute the most are the ones robbed of their pride while those in the pivotal positions frankly "don't give a shit" about who does what as long as the system runs accordingly. There is no sense of morality anywhere. To succeed, you must align yourself with the right people. If you do not, you are doomed to a cycle of hardwork and the odd feeling of "something is not right."
